Lushy - Matinee

About this event

Lushy is a progressive lounge pop trio from Seattle — Their sound is danceable and atmospheric, blending lounge, hints of electronica, and influences from the 60s, 70s, 80s...to NOW! These reverent yet joyous inventors/re-inventors create cinematic soundtracks for your listening and dancing pleasure. Their sets balance original compositions with inspired cover choices that range from Devo to Nino Rota, demonstrating a musical range that is as playful as it is sophisticated. Lushy is unlike any other band in the Northwest — with their own special sound, it's apparent that people appreciate their diversity and the atmosphere they create at shows. What other band would play Devo and Nino Rota in the same set? It's a little kooky and very cool.
