About this event
Kirtan is a call-and-response style song or chant, set to live music where participants either repeat the chant, or reply to the call of the singer.
At Community Kirtan, anyone is welcome to lead a chant, join in the singing, or just soak in the vibrational energies of these ancient practices. Bring your friends, your instruments, your voice and your open heart! The studio has mats, blankets, back-jacks, and a few chairs. Please join us! No registration needed, just show up and sing!
We suggest a donation of $10 per person at the event to cover the space rental. If you are not able to donate this much, come anyway and donate what you can.
Location: blosm studio is on the corner of 35th Ave NE and NE 82nd street and has a small parking lot with an entrance on 35th Avenue NE, just south of NE 82nd Street. Free street parking is also available. The studio will be open 20 minutes before the starting time of this event, and please use the west building entrance that faces 35th Avenue NE.
