About this event
Christmas is still a little while away, but we're already kicking off our holiday workshops!
We invite children to discover a traditional Ukrainian craft and create their own handmade pieces from straw.
Together with our instructor, Ksenia, children will learn how ordinary straw can be turned into different figures, explore basic weaving techniques, and try making something with their own hands.
It's a chance to work with natural materials, use their imagination, and discover Ukrainian traditions through creativity.
Languages: Ukrainian and English.

Запрошуємо дітей познайомитися з традиційним українським ремеслом та власноруч створити вироби із соломи.
Разом із майстринею Ксенею діти дізнаються, як зі звичайної соломи народжуються різноманітні фігурки, навчаться основних прийомів плетіння і спробують зробити щось власноруч.
Це можливість попрацювати з природними матеріалами, проявити фантазію та познайомитися з українськими народними традиціями через творчість.
