Mink River

About this event

A bold new chapter rooted in storytelling and community, Mink River returns Book-It to our original home at Center Theatre this November in a special workshop production of Artistic Director Myra Platt’s adaptation of Brian Doyle’s beloved Pacific Northwest novel. Co-directed by Platt and Jane Unger (founding Artistic Director Emerita of Portland’s Profile Theatre), this production brings 16 actors with scripts still in hand together to play more than 30 unforgettable characters. Performed in two parts, this intimate production invites audiences into a coastal Oregon town where unforgettable characters, including a mischievous talking crow named Moses, navigate everyday life, shared heritage, and the extraordinary ways a community comes together. November 13–22 | Center Theatre at Seattle Center You can experience Part One, Part Two, or the complete story across both performances.
