Class Description:

Yoga is a lifelong practice—not of achieving, but of becoming. Each month we'll explore a seasonal theme through alignment, philosophy, breath, and focused pose study, discovering how the practice supports us both on and off the mat. The theme this month is Gratitude Expands the Heart . All levels are welcome.

About the Instructor:

Nancy’s teaching is rooted in the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga, embracing Tantric teachings of essential goodness and alignment to make yoga accessible and joyful. She uses class themes to help students discover their “why” beyond poses and encourages self-acceptance, self-love, and inner steadiness. Nancy sees yoga as a journey toward self-awareness and kindness toward others.

Nancy began her yoga journey in 1987 and has been teaching since 2007. Her certifications include E-RYT 500 and YACEP, with additional training in Power Flow under Baron Baptiste, two 200-hour Anusara certifications, and advanced 300-hour training with Noah Maze.

She also holds certifications in iRest Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga and is a Certified Anusara Instructor, Levin Life Coach, and Alignment Guide. Influential teachers include Karen Sprute-Francovich, Tiffany Wood, Noah Maze, Jason Crandell, and Christina Sell.

Location:

The studio is on the corner of 35th Ave NE and NE 82nd street and has a small parking lot with an entrance on 35th Avenue NE, just south of NE 82nd Street. Free street parking is also available.

Please use the west building entrance that faces 35th Avenue NE.
