About this event

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a ground-based self-defense system that helps people succeed in difficult situations using concepts of leverage, unbalancing, and joint locks. Closely related to Judo and wrestling in that all training is done with a partner, except sparring typically starts on the knees. From a fitness perspective, this is a combination of intense aerobic and anaerobic activity.
