Cinema Italian Style: Opening Night Party

About this event

Join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating Italian cinema, culture, and community as we kick off Cinema Italian Style 2026 with a special Opening Night Celebration.

The Evening

The evening begins at SIFF Cinema Uptown with a screening at 6:00pm of Gioia mia (Sweetheart), winner of two David di Donatello Awards and special prizes at the Locarno Film Festival.

At SIFF Cinema Uptown, we will also draw the first two winners of the Cinema Italian Style Raffle!

Following the screening, we’ll move to KEXP for an evening of Italian food, drinks, a dedicated photo booth and live entertainment featuring the Italian band The Space Noodles.

Enjoy food and beverages from our wonderful sponsors and partners, including Duè Cucina, Tutta Bella, Gelatiamo, Caffè Umbria, La Dispensa, Dalla Terra Wines, Pasta Casalinga and PFI.

Come celebrate Italian cinema with us and kick off this year’s festival in style!
