On Saturday, hundreds gathered at Forest Park for the 33rd annual Nubian Jam that celebrated Black history and culture with live music, vendors, and historical displays. The event, hosted by the Snohomish County Black Heritage Committee—honoring a tradition begun in 1993, united the community in a vibrant celebration.
The Everett AquaSox lost 17-3 to the Eugene Emeralds on Sunday at Everett Memorial Stadium after pitcher Walter Ford’s pitch struck a batter and he returned to pitch. The loss ties the team with the Spokane Indians as they prepare for a Tuesday road series.
