About this event

Blue isn't just blue! Colors are complex. Color all depends on how light and pigment or dyes work together. And for each medium, colors look and blend differently.

In this easy-to-understand, practical color theory course, learn how to use and mix colors in different mediums to get the results you want without wasting valuable art supplies! Maxx FG will walk you through how colors are created and how they play together for a different medium each month. Choose the course that suits your preferred medium or come to the entire series to become a mixed-media color enthusiast.

In each class, you'll get to test out the month's medium and take home your notes and testing papers.

• January, May, September: Oil!

• February, June, October : Watercolor!

• March, July , November 2027 : Gouache!

• December, April, August : Acrylic!
