Pack: Veterans Day Flag Placement + Ceremony

Join the pack as we participate in the annual Veterans Day flag placement and ceremony at Evergreen Washelli!Parking is available on either side of Aurora. Plan to leave a little extra time to walk to the main event area (on the east side of the road). We will gather by the Doughboy Statue by 9:45, then head for the main ceremony area promptly at 10:00 to pick up our flags. Scouts can go off on their own to explore the cemetery and look for veterans' graves on which to respectfully place their flags. During this time there is also typically cocoa and treats available.At 10:45 am, we'll gather together once more by the Doughboy Statue and prepare to attend the ceremony, which starts at 11:00. If more than one ceremony is happening at the same time can head over to whichever ceremony they'd prefer to attend.This event will happen rain or shine.Uniforms are particularly encouraged for this event!
