Festive Kingston Tree Lighting Plus

About this event

This is my favorite Kitsap holiday event. I am going to try and make it to the holiday market some time during the day (see flyer in pictures) and get to Mike Wallace Park around 2:30 pm, but you can come whenever you like. Danny Vernon will perform and welcome Santa. If you have never seen Danny Vernon you are in for a treat. He made me like Elvis.

I will be sitting on the right side of the stage (right side when facing the stage, closer to the parking lot). Look for Christmas lights on my walker.

Bring a chair, coat/gloves, and maybe a throw for your legs. You can also bring your own hot drinks or purchase them there. They will have adult beverages, but you have to stay in the tented area to drink. Hopefully, it won't rain because when it is clear you can be very comfortable when dressed for winter.

• 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Village Green Handmade Holiday Market at the Village Green Community Center

• 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Kiwanis Santa Workshop at the Kingston Cove Yacht Club (KCYC)

• 2:00 PM: Caroling, Hot Cider, and Appetizers on the Dock

• 3:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Live performance by the Kingston High School Jazz Band

• 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Free Hot Chocolate and Cookies for Children

• 3:45 PM – 4:15 PM: KCYC Chorus Holiday Music

• 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM: Holiday Spirits Garden

• 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Danny Vernon Concert (as Elvis)

• 5:00 PM: Santa arrives and turns on the official Port of Kingston light display

• 5:15 PM: Guest Dock Boat Lights Judging

• 5:30 PM: Kids Scavenger Hunt
