  • On Tuesday, Jan. 27, Snohomish County volunteers canvassed Casino Road and nearby parks in Everett to conduct the annual Point-in-Time count of those experiencing homelessness. The survey data will help guide state and federal funding for local support services.  Everett Herald

  • The Adopt A Stream Foundation is hosting a free screening of FISH WAR on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Northwest Stream Center (600 128th Street SE), a film that covers Indigenous peoples’ fight for respected sovereign rights during the 1960s and 70s.  Everett Herald

HEALTH NEWS

  • Snohomish County Health Department confirmed three new measles cases on Tuesday, bringing the total to six. An unvaccinated child exposed at Slavic Christian Church Awakening in Mukilteo on Jan. 18 added to a county outbreak declared two weeks ago, and officials urge residents to check their immunization status.  Everett Post
