- ➤ The Reptile Zoo in Monroe will close permanently on Monday after three decades, as owner Isaac Petersen shuts the roadside attraction amid rising costs. Blaine Brown is set to relaunch the facility as the Monroe Wildlife Center with reptiles and new mammals and plans a tentative reopening for mid-March. Everett Herald

- ➤ Everett voters approved two school measures in a special election on Feb. 10. Proposition 1 will fund a new elementary school and facility improvements with a $396,849,890 bond while Proposition 2 renews the levy to support programs and staff (adding about $15 monthly for a $600k home). - ➤ USPS unveiled a new Sorting and Delivery Center at 8120 Hardeson Road on Friday, Feb. 13 to boost package processing and daily deliveries for 122,000 customers.
