CULTURE NEWS

  • Everett will host the Banff Film Festival on Feb. 27 and 28, where Best Day Ever—Banff’s 2025 Best Film—is screened with five outdoor-themed films at the Historic Everett Theatre on Colby Ave.  Everett Herald

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Comcast donated $60K to fund the new Lift Zone at the Granite Falls Boys + Girls Club, which opened Monday, Feb. 16. The center offers free WiFi, computers, 3D printers, robotics kits and multimedia equipment + hosts workshops to help youth build digital skills.  Everett Herald

SPORTS NEWS

  • Snohomish County hosted 150 sports tournaments in 2025 that brought 230,000 visitors, generating $42 million and nearly 43,000 room nights booked across 12 communities. The county set records with 37 sports played & 14 events, including inaugural contests like Quadballfest and high school esports at Lynnwood Event Center.  My Everett News
