The Port of Everett unveiled a bronze sculpture inspired by a historic 1940s photo of a young girl looking over the marina.

The artwork by Kevin Pettelle is now on display along the Central Marina esplanade between Pacific Rim Plaza and Boxcar Park.

Washington State Ferries will begin charging a 3% fee on credit and debit card transactions starting March 1 (cash and ORCA card payments remain exempt) to cover processing costs approved by the state legislature last year.
