- ➤ Port of Everett installed a bronze-cast sculpture inspired by a famed 1940s photo along the Central Marina esplanade to honor its past as it looks to future waterfront development. - ➤ Port of Everett hosts a Lunar New Year celebration with a lion dance by Northwest Kung Fu+Fitness at Pacific Rim Plaza starting at 1 p.m. today, while the Public Library and Community College offer family events with storytime and festival activities later this week. Everett Post

- ➤ Transit riders in the region can use Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit cards and debit cards to pay using ORCA without needing a plastic card starting Monday, Feb. 23. Riders will still have a two-hour transfer window, but these digital payments do not work on ferries, paratransit or microtransit services. Everett Herald
