- ➤ Due to federal funding cuts, Housing Hope ended its landscaping training in August 2025, closed Kindred Kitchen earlier, and will close its furniture store on March 31. The nonprofit now focuses on culinary training + early childhood education and hosts a dinner today at the Feather Ballroom in Snohomish. Snohomish County Tribune

- ➤ Everett Public Schools reported increased Advanced Placement participation and improved exam performance during the 2024-25 school year. A total of 2,071 students took AP courses and qualifying scores rose to 79.4 percent, with three high schools earning national recognition as district leaders expanded access to advanced coursework. - ➤ At 5:42 a.m. Tuesday, a 3.0 earthquake shook Cathcart in south Snohomish County. Experts said the tremor was just strong enough to be felt and did not cause damage. Everett Herald
