GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The SBA, partnering with Sno-Isle Regional Libraries, opened a disaster outreach center in Snohomish at the library’s Big Study Room on 311 Maple Avenue offering low-interest loans for December flood repairs. It is open Monday through Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with Saturday hours after March 7. Everett Herald
- ➤ Public Works is accepting proposals from states, local groups or private entities to move and repurpose the 92-year-old Granite Falls Bridge on Mountain Loop Highway. The original bridge remains open and replacement will begin in 2028 with new owners covering transportation, reassembly + maintenance costs. Everett Herald

- ➤ Funko Field in Everett has been awarded the 2026 WIAA 3A/4A Baseball State Championship and will host eight high school teams this spring. It is the second time in four years the tournament is held at the venue (showing its strong local appeal). Everett Post
