EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ More than 150 local high school students attended the fourth annual Civic Education Day at Snohomish County Campus in Everett on Monday, March 16 where council members and county staff explained government processes. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Interstate 405 is fully open—southbound reopened Sunday at 7:30 a.m. and northbound early Monday, while crews continue work on a new overpass and mid‐freeway transit stations planned until 2028. Everett Post
- ➤ Community Transit announced schedule changes effective March 28 in Everett. Routes 201 and 202 will start earlier on weekends for riders to the Amazon Fulfillment Center, while Swift Blue and Swift Green add trips and Route 904 loses one schedule due to low ridership — adjustments to improve connections. - ➤ Everett Silvertips set a season record with their 55-7-3 record and 55th win after beating the Portland Winterhawks, recording their 28th road win in 68 games. They will host games 1 and 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinal on Mar. 27 and 28 at Angel of the Winds Arena. Everett Post
