  • The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue unit is asking residents for help to locate Jonathan Hoang— a 21-year-old from Arlington who was last seen at his home around 7:30 p.m. Sunday night after leaving without his shoes, cell phone, or jacket and was reported missing the following morning.  Everett Herald

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Today, AHC Barber & Beauty College in Everett offers $5 haircuts for walk-in clients from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday—providing barber students with hands-on training while the school receives payment and students keep tips. The program builds confidence and helps students gain skills needed for state licensing.  Everett Herald

  • The City of Everett will host a mini recycling event on Saturday, April 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lot B of Everett Station on 3201 Smith Ave — it will accept oil, latex-based paint, electronics, computer equipment and televisions while offering shredding for confidential documents for Snohomish County residents.  Everett Post
  • The City of Everett’s Community Development Advisory Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday April 22nd at 4:00 p.m. to review the draft Consolidated Plan 2025-2029; those attending in person should arrive at the Everett Municipal Building (2930 Wetmore Avenue) by 3:50 p.m. or join virtually after registering 24 hours ahead (by contacting Community Development).  City of Everett
