- ➤ Preston Dwoskin, a Marysville native and local sports supporter, shared his anti-bullying message (drawing on his personal experience with disabilities) with Snohomish High School students on March 27. His annual Buddy Bowl event raised over $12K for youth sports and mental health support and he plans to expand it further. Everett Herald
- ➤ Habitat for Humanity of Snohomish County revealed plans for Willow Path Cottages in Lynnwood. The project (costing around $5 million) includes eight affordable homes clustered around a shared green space and will see construction begin later this fall with home sales by the end of 2027. - ➤ Over 1,000 middle and high school students attended Everett Community College’s 21st annual Student Career Conference on March 26. More than 70 professionals and 49 EvCC students led panel discussions & guided attendees through college & career options. My Everett News

- ➤ Residents received texts on March 20 asking if they supported vetoing the Pride parade scheduled June 6, sparking community debate. Mayor Hoffman denied any connection and stressed that the City Council will vote on the event contract on April 21 (he uses official communications only). Everett Herald
