HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Snohomish County Health Department may face cuts to its 25% budget portion when the state loses $21 million in public health funding from vapor tax changes. It expects to know more by July and is already cutting costs + adjusting operations to protect key services. Everett Herald

- ➤ The Herald released its Athlete of the Week nominees for March 29-April 4; voting closed at midnight Sunday and the winner will be revealed in next Wednesday's paper (following the poll). Everett Herald
