Boeing settled two wrongful death lawsuits with the families of victims from Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302—whose crash in March 2019 killed 157 people—less than a day before jury selection, and another trial is set for July while additional cases remain pending.

The Everett Cultural Arts Commission and mayor selected award winners that honor local arts, including former My Everett News publisher Leland Dart and former council chair Brenda Stonecipher.
