- ➤ Boeing settled two wrongful death lawsuits with the families of victims from Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302—whose crash in March 2019 killed 157 people—less than a day before jury selection, and another trial is set for July while additional cases remain pending. KUOW

- ➤ The Everett Cultural Arts Commission and mayor selected award winners that honor local arts, including former My Everett News publisher Leland Dart and former council chair Brenda Stonecipher. - ➤ Everett Police Department plans to start a trial Drones as a First Responder program as early as June to use drones from Flock Safety to assess emergency calls, cut response times, and deescalate incidents in north and south Everett—if successful and with mayor approval, the city may invest about $300,000 and will not use the drones for random surveillance or unrelated activities. - ➤ Amtrak Cascades trains — taken off service for 11 days after corrosion was found in rail cars — are now running normally after a Sunday announcement. Replacement train cars — with fewer seats — are in use and passengers are told to book trips in advance. Everett Herald
