- ➤ The Everett Silvertips beat the Kelowna Rockets 4-2 Saturday night to take a 2-0 series lead — Kelowna center Ty Halaburda was injured after a hit and transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. The team will face Kelowna again Tuesday. Snohomish County Tribune
- ➤ On Saturday, Cascade scored twice in the final seven minutes to win 4-3 over Archbishop Murphy in soccer, while Archbishop Murphy earned a 9-8 win in softball against Shorecrest. In Bellingham, Shorewood captured the track meet team title at the Birger Solberg Invite. Everett Herald
