- ➤ Family and neighbors in Arlington held a protest on April 12 to urge law enforcement to redouble their search for 21-year-old Jonathan Hoang, who went missing on March 30 from his home without his phone or jacket — detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and following new leads despite no evidence of foul play. - ➤ Two Everett students, Kevin Li (from Seattle Golf Club) and Esther Yapjoco (at Broadmoor Golf Club), have been awarded Evans Scholarships that will cover full tuition and housing for four years of college. They will begin college in fall and are expected to attend the University of Washington. My Everett News
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ The Snohomish County Health Department’s STI Clinic in Everett delivered care to over a thousand local residents in its first year and recorded 1,689 visits with more than 3,000 tests performed in 2024. The clinic, which tested individuals aged 14 and older, diagnosed 327 positive cases and treated syphilis cases three days sooner than other providers—helping improve timely care in our community.
