Every Tuesday and Wednesday, a red shuttle brings students from Emerson Elementary to New Hope Assembly where LifeWise Academy offers a tuition-free Bible program under a 1952 Supreme Court ruling & the program does not involve public school resources.
Some parents value the daytime faith lessons while others worry that the off-campus classes might disrupt the school day.
🏛️ Government
The Greater Everett Chamber of Commerce voted on April 18 to support the city’s plan for a downtown multipurpose stadium — a project that may house the AquaSox and host various events.
Chamber leaders stressed that the project will need strict financial oversight — they called for full transparency as planning continues.
