- ➤ The Edgewater Bridge reopened on April 27, restoring a vital link between Mukilteo and Everett after nearly two years of repairs and detours. - ➤ The Port of Everett received an $11.25 million grant to modernize Pier 3 at its international seaport. The funds will cover planning, engineering, environmental review (and) construction to boost cargo operations and support local job growth. Everett Herald
- ➤ A judge (Lauren King) Friday ordered Everett Public Schools to change its permission slip policy and allow LifeWise to join resource fairs, display flyers, and let students read its materials in class. - ➤ Shorewood boys soccer won 4-0 against Glacier Peak Tuesday at Shoreline Stadium with Nikola Genadiev scoring twice to secure the win; the Stormrays remain undefeated as they prepare for the playoffs while Glacier Peak faces a three-game losing streak. Everett Herald
- ➤ Our local Silvertips rallied from behind on Tuesday, April 28 at South Okanagan Events Centre to win Game 4 4-2 by scoring three unanswered goals in the final nine minutes. They will rest before Game 1 of the WHL Championship Series on May 8 & await their next opponent. Everett Herald
- ➤ Monroe Bearcats beat Everett Seagulls 1 to 0 on a cold spring evening in Monroe when pitcher A.J. Welch struck out 15 with no walks and allowed three hits while Everett's Nathan Mauss-Barquest pitched six innings with four hits and two walks. Snohomish County Tribune
