- ➤ The 33rd annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is organized by the National Association of Letter Carriers and will have residents drop off nonperishable food items by their mailbox this Saturday + donations will go to local food banks facing increased demand. Everett Herald
- ➤ The Everett Farmers Market returns on Sunday with nearly 120 vendors offering local produce, baked goods and artisan products. The seasonal event — running weekly from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Oct. 23 — is held along Wetmore Avenue in downtown Everett. Everett Herald

- ➤ On Tuesday, May 6, a crowd gathered at Boeing’s Everett campus as Copa Airlines unveiled its new 737 MAX celebrating Panama’s soccer team ahead of the FIFA World Cup. The plane displays a ‘Marea Roja’ livery plus elements like the team’s shield and image of former Sounders defender Román Torres. Everett Herald

- ➤ Community members can tour Snohomish County PUD's Monroe hydropower site through Hydropower Appreciation Days on May 15-16 at the Woods Creek Sustainability Center (10710 Hand Road in Monroe). The free guided tours let visitors see the dam and powerhouse and learn how the site supports renewable electricity and fish habitat. Everett Herald

- ➤ Everett Mall owners say the Topgolf facility remains a possible addition despite a recent permit filing that showed an alternate redevelopment plan — the filing is one back-up option and all plans are still on the table to boost the property. Everett Herald

- ➤ Prep softball results featured Jackson’s thrilling 19 to 18 walk off win over Cascade on May 6. The game saw six home runs and 37 runs in total, helping Jackson secure second place while other local teams, including Everett, gained key wins + bright finishes. Everett Herald
- ➤ At the Wesco 3A/2A South Tournament on May 6 in Edmonds, Shorecrest won both singles and doubles girls tennis titles and advanced to the District 1 tournament. At the Wesco 3A/2A North Tournament in Stanwood, Snohomish also won the girls titles (headed to District 1 play). Everett Herald
- ➤ Everett AquaSox won 10-0 over Hillsboro at Everett Memorial Stadium on Wednesday, with 21-year-old Luke Stevenson extending his on-base streak and Bryce Miller making his rehab start after recovering from an oblique injury (he pitched five innings, allowing only two hits). Everett Herald
