- ➤ Dr. James Lewis (the Snohomish County Health Officer) was appointed last Thursday to the Washington State Board of Health and will serve until July 1 while continuing his duties locally. Everett Herald
- ➤ Drivers using the Edmonds-Kingston ferry should expect a new boarding pass kiosk today; the automated system is being tested on weekends and Memorial Day — it aims to reduce line-cutting and ease congestion downtown. Everett Post
