- ➤ The Everett Farmers Market returns this weekend at Wetmore Avenue and Wall Street for Mother's Day—offering local food, drinks, crafts, plants and home decor every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. through October. - ➤ An adult male sustained burns and was taken to the hospital after an apartment fire broke out just after 2 a.m. on May 9 at the corner of Broadway Ave — Euclid Ave in Pinehurst; firefighters quickly put out the flames before they could spread to the nearby grocery store. City of Everett

- ➤ Everett announced a community survey is now live for residents, business owners, and artists to help shape the vision, boundaries, and priorities of a certified Washington State Creative District. City officials say the survey supports plans to boost the local creative economy — offering access to state marketing, competitive grants, and technical assistance. City of Everett
- ➤ Today, retired firefighter and Everett City Council president Don Schwab—who represents District 3—announced his campaign for reelection, promising to focus on public safety, economic development, affordable housing, and sustainable infrastructure.
