- ➤ Residents in select Everett neighborhoods can apply online for free trees from the Urban and Community Forest Program, which aims to plant over 3,700 trees by the end of 2028+ the effort targets areas with low tree cover to boost environmental health. Everett Herald

- ➤ Snohomish County Public Utility District is preparing for future large-load customers like data centers. Officials said they will require new customers to pay for needed upgrades and plan to assess power needs exceeding 2.5+ megawatts. Everett Herald

- ➤ Mount Vernon Bulldogs secured a 7-4 win over Snohomish Panthers in the District 1 3A Championship on Saturday at Everett Memorial Stadium.
