- ➤ At Paine Field Community Day on May 17, Snohomish County children saw airplanes, helicopters, and a new fire engine that will serve in June. One-year-old Cal Brennan rode in a helicopter while six-year-olds Theodore Lynch and Aarian Alchholz checked out the heavy engine — making it a day full of exciting aviation experiences for local families. - ➤ Everett Police reported that Region 1 SWAT—formed by both the Everett Police and Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office—is responding to a barricaded subject today in the 3600 block of Oakes Ave and has blocked the street between 36th and 37th. My Everett News
