- ➤ Everett’s softball team lost 5-4 to Garfield on Friday at the Regional Athletic Complex in the state tournament. Senior Braylon Yarwood tied the game but a walk off double by Garfield ended the contest and kept the Seagulls out of the quarterfinals. Everett Herald
- ➤ The Everett Silvertips are set to take on Chicoutimi in their Memorial Cup round robin game today at Prospera Place in Kelowna — they will face the Kitchener Rangers in their next matchup on Monday. Everett Herald
- ➤ Luke Stevenson hit three doubles and drove in six runs as the AquaSox won 10-5 over the Tri-City Dust Devils at Everett Memorial Stadium on Thursday night, with early scoring from Josh Caron and strong pitching from Chase Centala. Everett Herald
