- ➤ The City of Everett will host its free Sorticulture Garden Arts Festival downtown from June 6 to June 8 — featuring over 120 garden artists and nurseries, live entertainment, art and gardening classes, food trucks, and a free shuttle service from Everett Station. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A 60–70 foot boat docked at Port of Everett North Marina A-dock caught fire just after 4:00 p.m. today, and Everett Fire Department quickly extinguished the flames by 4:20 p.m. while all occupants were safely evacuated and damage was limited to the stern, with the cause under investigation. - ➤ Everett police recovered a sunken shrimp boat and the bodies of two missing passengers on Saturday, May 31—10 days after the vessel sank on May 21—and the search for a third person ended without success. Everett Herald
