- ➤ A 19-year-old man drowned while swimming at Eagle Falls near Index in Snohomish County on Thursday afternoon after suffering cramps—Sky Valley Fire responded around 6:45 p.m.—and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Everett Herald

- ➤ Boeing and Airbus forecast over 42,000 new jets will be needed through 2044 as passenger travel grows and a rising middle class boosts demand—Boeing estimated 43,600 jets while Airbus projected 42,330 jets.
