- ➤ All Aboard moved to its new home at 2828 Rockefeller Ave on May 1 and will host its inaugural group show 'Express Yourself' during the Everett Art Walk on June 19—featuring local artist Nick Butler and board member Deborah Lutz, with a ribbon cutting at 5 p.m. and an Open House until 7 p.m. Snohomish County Tribune
- ➤ Everett Pride takes place this weekend from Friday, June 20th to Sunday, June 22nd with three events — a free Solstice Themed Concert on Friday from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm with live music and a free 3rd Annual Block Party on June 21st from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm featuring vendors and drag performances. A third event is a ticketed Diva Drag Brunch at 16Eleven hosted by Justin Buckles Productions, costing $65 per person with a $15 deposit. My Everett News

- ➤ Portal Space Systems announced plans to expand its Bothell facility to 50,000 square feet — the expansion will grow its workforce from 21 to 100 employees and boost its production toward one spacecraft per month by 2027. Everett Herald

- ➤ On June 9, a Snohomish County Sheriff K9 deputy in unincorporated Everett saw a vehicle with four gang members (17, 18, 18, 19) intentionally avoiding him on 128th Street SW and later recovered a stolen fully automatic firearm and an untraceable ghost gun (recovered on June 15) from the impounded vehicle. - ➤ Legacy Washington’s Love, Equally: The Journey to Marriage Equality exhibit will be shown at the Everett Municipal Building from today until September and is open Monday–Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended hours on Saturday, June 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.—a tribute to Washington’s pivotal civil rights moment—celebrated during Everett Pride’s Annual Block Party. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Washington State Patrol officers began emphasis patrols Monday along Interstate 5 between south Everett and Arlington and will continue through July 31. Officials will study data from on board sensors and GPS (telematics systems providing driver data) to understand high-risk driving behavior and guide future enforcement. Everett Herald
- ➤ On June 12, the Adult Recovery Court celebrated reaching 1,000 total graduates as two participants shared the honor. County officials and judges praised the program, which has helped over 2,000 individuals in more than 25 years by combining legal and recovery services — offering a path for change in our community. - ➤ Snohomish County launched its new Ag Tech Program to let farmers in the Snohomish River Basin borrow technology for free—this includes a four-wheeled robot, soil sensors, and mapping tools to help improve crop production. Farmers used the tech on June 13 for tasks like fertilizing trees and dairy farm chores, and they can now schedule its use through county staff. Everett Herald
- ➤ Everett City Council approved preliminary funding of $4.8M for an $82M AquaSox stadium project—designed as a new downtown Outdoor Event Center that will host baseball and soccer, and the council plans to work with Public Facilities Group for lease and construction plans while addressing business relocation concerns. - ➤ Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is the county’s only Level 2 Adult Trauma Center and a Level 3 Pediatric Trauma Center, treating over 4,000 trauma patients each year.
