  • Thanks to a generous ASPCA grant, EAS has hired Christina McBride, CPDT, from the Zoom Room Dog Training Facility in Everett to run its new behavior program. She will work with staff, volunteers, and the foster network—developing group enrichment strategies and individualized behavior plans—and the organization is seeking essential items to support her work.  City of Everett
  • Everett resident Matt Chomjak, a bus driver at Community Transit, won first place at the International Bus Roadeo in Austin, TX— he won it for the second time— with a near-perfect run. He said his love for driving and careful preparation helped him earn the award.  My Everett News
  • Everett’s 4th of July Community Parade will return downtown on July 4. The community-led event will include over 70 entries—volunteers are needed for day-of support with trainings set for June 26 and July 3.  Everett Post

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A police pursuit ended when a speeding Mini Cooper drove into water near the Edmonds ferry dock on Tuesday night; two people died—three others were rescued and treated while authorities investigated the incident.  Everett Herald

  • Today, Imagine Children's Museum in Everett holds a special members-only preview of its immersive Doc McStuffins: The Exhibit—an interactive space where families can play in a backyard clinic and learn healthy habits from the popular Disney Jr. series. The exhibit will open to the public on June 21 and run through August 24—offering a bilingual experience.  My Everett News
