- ➤ Everett Police arrested four individuals—one adult and three juveniles—this spring for gang-related graffiti vandalism tied to incidents involving spray paint, alcohol and stolen firearms, with investigations still ongoing. Everett Post
- ➤ On June 17, a Mini Cooper led police on a high-speed chase starting on I-5 in South Everett and later crashed off the Edmonds ferry dock at 11:27 p.m.—two passengers died while three were taken to Harborview Medical Center as authorities investigated the role of drugs and alcohol. - ➤ Everett City Council approved a major update to its comprehensive plan that removes most single-family zoning and now requires larger housing developments in areas with a high risk of displacement to include affordable units—while also limiting small-scale corner commercial uses to certain districts.
