- ➤ The city will make temporary traffic changes for the July 4 Colors of Freedom festival and fireworks at Legion Memorial Park, closing the Hibulb Lookout parking lot from July 3 to July 5 and restricting nonresident access on part of Alverson Boulevard starting at 6 a.m. July 4—residents should expect increased pedestrian traffic between 10:30 p.m. and midnight—so drivers are urged to plan ahead.
