- ➤ A Lake Stevens renter found a box of cremated ashes in her rental garage and posted on Facebook asking for help to return them. Everett resident Jake Graham, whose mother died in 2010, was reunited with her remains — and he now plans a proper memorial for Poppy Graham. Everett Herald
- ➤ At a Transit Tales event on Wednesday in Smokey Point, Community Transit and Sno-Isle Libraries took children onto a bus to listen to stories and sing 'The Wheels on the Bus'—teaching them about public transit. Seven-year-old Kylie Brown even pretended to drive the bus as the groups aimed to help young riders learn safe travel after free transit rides began for youth under the Climate Commitment Act.
