GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • K’allen Specht filed a petition in Snohomish County Superior Court on September 26 alleging the county’s use of ghost signs + concrete barriers and removal of the only parking stall erased public access to Hillman Place, a public right-of-way created in 1909 near Soundview Drive NW. The petition seeks a writ of mandamus and declaratory judgment to require the county to restore visible shoreline access while a county spokesperson said the department is reviewing the case.  Everett Herald
