CRIME NEWS
- ➤ The Irwin family's Halloween display in South Everett was vandalized three times since late September—missing skeletons and damaged decorations have led the family to reconsider future displays as police investigate while neighbors express their frustration. Everett Post
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Everett Public Schools board voted unanimously Tuesday to add a $400 million bond measure and levy renewal to the February ballot — the bond will fund a new elementary school costing nearly $97.7 million and upgrade several schools while the levy supports programs like athletics and clubs. If approved, the measures will raise property taxes by about 8% — and the board will host sessions at Cascade High, Everett High and Heatherwood Middle to answer voters’ questions. Everett Herald
