ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Stanwood police say pedal-free electric bikes with pegs must be registered and operated by drivers with a valid motorcycle endorsement under Washington law—riders who violate these rules risk citations, fines or impoundment. • Tim Ryker became Port of Everett's chief of seaport operations on Oct. 1—replacing longtime COO Carl Wollebek who retired on Sept. 29. He will lead efforts to boost freight shipments as global challenges affect marine trade while the port plans to hire a commercial strategy officer to work with him and CEO Lisa Lefeber.  Everett Herald
  • Sound Transit is planning to add overnight bus service between downtown Seattle and Everett in fall 2026 — the agency is collecting feedback through Nov. 7 — to fill a late-night transit gap.
