- ➤ Monroe Covenant Church will celebrate 120 years this weekend at 202 South Sams St. with events on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.—a history tour led by church historian Hauna Ondrey will showcase its legacy. Founded on Nov. 14, 1905 with land donated by Morris Johnson and his wife, the church has evolved from Swedish services to serve a diverse community. Everett Herald

- ➤ The Port of Everett is asking for a partner to open a new high-end restaurant on its final available spot along Restaurant Row in Fisherman’s Harbor—this tenant will sign a long-term lease to design a two-story building with up to 8,000 square feet, valet parking, and outdoor seating that offers views of the marina and Puget Sound.
