Good morning, Everett.

Everett is hosting a variety of holiday events with a downtown tree lighting on November 28 from 2 to 8 p.m. and a holiday craft bazaar on November 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; additional festivals, art exhibits and seasonal markets will continue through December.

On Wednesday, the Snohomish County Council adopted its first Community Wildfire Protection Plan that examines wildfire risks across the county and guides residents on home-hardening measures - an effort prompted by past wildfires like the Bolt Creek fire to improve emergency response.
