EDUCATION NEWS

  • BP and the Department of Ecology worked Wednesday to contain a rupture on the Olympic Pipeline that leaked jet fuel near Lowell-Snohomish River Road by a blueberry farm last week; they shut down the 20-inch pipe for inspection while the 16-inch pipe resumed service and cleanup continues (with no flight impacts at Sea-Tac).  Everett Herald

HEALTH NEWS

  • State agriculture officials reported that bird flu infected a backyard flock of ducks in Everett and set a 10-mile risk watch zone around central Everett.
