- ➤ Sno-Isle Libraries began demolition on the old site—recycling up to 95% of material—at 4th Avenue West and 128th Street South West in South Everett to prepare for the future Mariner Library. Construction will begin in 2027 with three design models planned and over $4 million in state grants supporting community resources. Everett Herald
- ➤ Volunteers of America Western Washington will launch VOAWW Connect on Jan. 2 to serve Snohomish and Skagit counties with food, housing, transportation—and behavioral health and other vital resources after the 211 helpline moves to a statewide center. The new local hotline at 360-VOA-HELP will provide faster, community-focused assistance for those in need. Everett Herald
