- ➤ On Nov. 2, local band Cytrus hosted a YouTube livestream to raise nearly $1,600 for Snohomish Boys & Girls Club’s Meal-in-a-Bag program that provides meal kits to families affected by the government shutdown — the funds will supply 20 meal bags weekly for eight weeks and extend support to the Arlington club. - ➤ Judy Tuohy, the longtime executive director of the Schack Art Center, will retire in May 2026 after 32 years in her role— the board will soon start a regional search for her replacement. Everett Herald
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ BP’s Olympic Pipeline returned to full service Saturday — after a leak east of Everett led to a two-week shutdown and fuel emergencies — and BP recovered about 2,300 gallons of oil while cleanup efforts continue.
