Community Transit is hosting a Stuff-a-Bus drive at Fred Meyer in Monroe Friday and Saturday, 12 to 4 p.m., collecting essentials for preschoolers via Volunteers of America Western Washington; Everett Transit holds a similar drive on weekends through Dec.

14, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Net Shed Fish Market will open this Saturday in Everett at the Port of Everett’s Restaurant Row.

The new venue offers a tide-to-table seafood menu and operates in a 2,700 sqft interior (with an outdoor patio along Seiner Wharf) to serve local dining needs.

Everett High School runs Harbor Coffee House, an inclusive program where Extended Resource and General Education students learn job skills through hands-on work in coffee making and service.

The student-led program uses training from Whidbey Coffee (and support from community donations) to build career skills for future employment.
