- ➤ Parents backed district rules (supporting legal boundaries) at a school board meeting Tuesday in Everett after LifeWise Academy lawyers threatened legal action over off-campus Bible classes near Emerson Elementary. - ➤ Everett city staff are monitoring the Snohomish River today as forecasts expect water to peak by noon with slower flow rates. Public Works may close Riverfront Blvd if floodwaters reach road level - local parks remain closed while officials track conditions. City of Everett

- ➤ Everett City Council voted unanimously on Wednesday to allocate $500K to repair Wiggums Hollow Park’s playground, which was destroyed in an October fire; construction is set to begin early 2026 and finish before summer (in the Delta neighborhood). Everett Herald
